New SCORE Foundation Corporate Sponsors to Support Aspiring Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

Charter Communications and The Entrepreneur’s Source Join Sponsor Roster

WASHINGTON, D.C. – July 26, 2023 – The SCORE Foundation, the philanthropic arm of SCORE, the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, today announced new underwriting support from Charter Communications Inc. and The Entrepreneur’s Source.  Their financial resources will help fund and expand SCORE’s free mentoring, training and education materials that help all small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.

Charter Communications, a leading broadband connectivity provider serving more than 32 million customers in 41 states, will support SCORE’s free mentoring services through “Let’s Get Started” – a new program from Spectrum Business to help aspiring business owners start their own venture.

“Small businesses are vital to the local communities we serve and we are committed to providing them with resources and products to help them launch, grow and thrive,” said Sharon Peters, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Charter. “Our partnership with the SCORE Foundation through ‘Let’s Get Started’ allows small business self-starters to take advantage of the highly-regarded free mentoring and programs available through SCORE.”

The Entrepreneur’s Source, the world’s largest career ownership coaching consulting firm, will underwrite national webinar training programs and ‘how-to’ instructional tools for individuals considering business ownership as a new career path.

“The financial investment from these sponsors will support the valuable programs SCORE provides to individuals at all stages of their entrepreneurial journey – from the business idea through company launch and ongoing operation,” said Liz Sara, president of the SCORE Foundation.  “We greatly appreciate their commitment to increasing founders’ success.”

Last year, SCORE helped start more than 30,000 businesses in the U.S.
